I met Omelora for the very first time in her beautiful home in Abuja when her Son Elochukwu celebrated his birthday early in 2012. She was so homely I marveled at her motherly and warm welcome. She made sure we were entertained with the best refreshment available. Incredibly what astonished me the most that day was the simple fact that she watched a match between Chelsea and Barcelona with so much interest and keen attention and analyzing every tactical move on the field off play and interestingly she supported and Chelsea won that match that day. I must say that the very few hours I spent in her company was indeed worth every second of it, and right now I have lost words to describe the sadness of the news of her death but I know that God in his infinite wisdom knows best. Take heart Chibuzo, Elo ,Nnena and the entire Okoye and Achebe families
